The Ice Age Route is a 390-kilometer-long cycling route in the glacial landscape of Zealand. When cycling on the Ice Age Route, you will move through an exciting and varied landscape. Along the route, 47 points have currently been designated, each of which, and together, tell the story of how the ice age shaped the landscape and how humans later utilized the land and left their marks.

Our partner network ensures that you can start your vacation or simply rent bikes in various locations in Zealand and return them to another rental partner.
Soon, there will also be rental locations in Funen and Jutland.

Ruten er dog langt fra en normal cykelrute. Undervejs kan cykellisterne nemlig opleve en digital og visuel fortælling omkring istidens landskaber.
På ruten kan man tage sin telefon op ad lommen og gennem en app opleve, hvor isen fra istiden har ligget og derved få fornemmelsen at stå i landskabet under istiden.
